TCT UK User Group Meeting - 4th June 2024

How to optimise additive manufacturing in your business.

In an effort to address the challenges that are stifling additive manufacturing adoption in the UK, and in response to ongoing feedback and demand for an active additive manufacturing and 3D printing user discussion forum in the UK, the inaugural TCT UK User Group meeting took place in 2023.

This exclusive and FREE invited only event delivered a deep dive into the roadblocks hampering AM adoption by providing a range of opportunities for debate and knowledge exchange.

Our Facilitator - Todd Grimm

We are delighted to welcome highly regarded commentator and presenter, and long time TCT Advisor, Todd Grimm back to the UK to facilitate the second TCT UK User Group day.

Anyone who has seen Todd chair panels and host sessions at previous TCT events across the globe will know his pace, enthusiasm for the subject and energy will give the day cadence and ensure the session discussions are challenging, engaging and informative.

"Few things in life are done better alone and navigating the benefits and limitations of AM can be arduous. The new TCT UK User Group is a welcome opportunity for those who've been there, to share these hard-won lessons with their peers. Bringing together the wealth of expertise that exists within the UK can do nothing but help all of us to thrive"
Jonathan Rowley, Industry Consultant and Educator,
Advanced SLS

"We do a lot of work at the front end of the adoption cycle, drawing new users to the technologies but we are acutely aware of the issues that prevent additive manufacturing and 3D printing users fulfilling its full potential in their organisations, the TCT UK User Group will start to help address that challenge."
Duncan Wood, CEO,
The TCT Group

How does this Work?
OK, so bring your ideas, be open, be ready to share and ready to contribute to the conversation.

The day will revolve around three key discussion topics pinpointed by the group’s Advisory Board offering expert perspectives from each side of the coin. Then we'll follow those scene setting perspectives with engaging question and answer sessions that involve the panel and the audience, Then at the end of the day we'll take a honest look at where we are in the UK and propose some actions to help the industry move forward.

Throughout the day and into the evening there will be ample networking time to connect with peers facing similar challenges.
How do I get involved?
During the registration process for TCT 3Sixty you will have the opportunity to indicate an interest in attending the TCT UK User Group on the 4th June. Please only do this if you are sure you can attend the day as places are limited.

The day is only open to delegates who are actively using existing machines in their organisation on a daily basis, sales and marketing functions will not be invited to the day.

If you have already registered for the event then please drop us a line at tctusergroup@rapidnews.com and we will assess your suitability for an invitation to the event.
User Group Advisory Board
A huge thanks to the User Group Advisory Board whose prompts and discussion were the catalyst for this event. This group of motivated individuals are now working alongside TCT to shape the content of the User Group and to ensure we deliver a unique and valuable event for attendees.
