ADDiTEC Launched AMDROiD X

Tampa, FL – ADDiTEC officially unveiled its latest breakthrough, the AMDROiD X, at MILAM 2025, a leading tradeshow for advanced manufacturing and logistics. Designed for rapid deployment and performance in off-grid, mission-critical environments, the AMDROiD X redefines portable metal additive manufacturing and repair.

This next-gen Laser Directed Energy Deposition (LDED) system supports industries including defense, construction, energy, and disaster response. Housed in a compact, 10-foot expandable container with built-in command center and solar-powered storage, the AMDROiD X enables on-site production where it’s needed most.

Key Features:

  • 12kW Ultra High Power Laser: Prints stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and more
  • Modular Design: Expands to 169 sq. ft., ideal for field use
  • Off-Grid Energy: 54 kWh solar-rechargeable power system
  • Integrated Nitrogen Generator: Onboard shielding gas production
  • Intuitive Software: Handles complex multi-axis geometries
“The AMDROiD X is a point-of-demand system uniquely suited for defense and emergency applications,” said Brian Matthews, CEO of ADDiTEC. “Its ability to function independently in remote environments makes it an essential tool for on-site manufacturing and repair.”

With applications ranging from offshore platforms to disaster zones, the AMDROiD X offers unmatched flexibility and autonomy. It embodies ADDiTEC’s mission to provide cutting-edge, self-sufficient AM solutions.
