Eplus3D Empowers TEMISTh to Revolutionize Metal Additive Manufacturing in Thermal Solutions

TEMISTh, a pioneer in customized heat exchanger design and manufacturing, is leveraging Eplus3D’s advanced metal additive manufacturing (AM) technology to redefine thermal solutions for aerospace, defense, and energy industries. Since 2012, the Southern France-based company has specialized in extreme-condition applications - from cryogenic systems (cryogenic to 1000K) to high-pressure environments (up to 1000 bars) - and now integrates Eplus3D’s Metal Powder Bed Fusion (MPBF™) technology to overcome the limitations of traditional manufacturing.

Breaking Barriers in Heat Exchanger Production with EP-M300

TEMISTh’s adoption of the EP-M300, equipped with a 300x300x450 mm build volume and dual 500W lasers, enables the precise fabrication of complex, lightweight heat exchangers with optimized internal flow channels. By combining CFD-driven fluid dynamics and FEA-validated mechanical designs, TEMISTh can now produce high-performance nickel-based alloy components, such as cold plates, that withstand extreme conditions while reducing material waste by up to 40% and cutting production time in half compared to conventional methods.

The Future of AM in Thermal Engineering

This collaboration underscores the transformative role of metal AM in thermal solutions, enabling lighter, stronger, and more efficient designs that traditional methods cannot match. As TEMISTh continues to innovate, Eplus3D remains committed to advancing industrial AM, empowering industries to achieve sustainable, high-performance manufacturing.
